DIGITAL HUMANITIES

Digital Humanities refer to a transdisciplinary domain that encompasses all the heuristic perspectives, methods, and systems related to the application of integrated digital technologies in the field of human and social sciences. In such a way it supports the development of high added value products and services, and it meets users’ needs as well as high impact needs for the development of sustainable communities. 

In this sense, Digital Humanities contribute to Social Innovation, to the creation of new forms of collaboration and relationship between expert and non-expert users in a vision of public engagement.
